With a rich history spanning over 40 years as a prominent downtown icon in Plattsburgh, Peabody's holds a special place in the community. Founded by the original owner, Bob Wallett, Peabody's underwent numerous transformations under his guidance. 

Our aspiration is to carry forward the legacy that Bob initiated all those years ago. Our journey to Plattsburgh began in November 2020, and we quickly developed a profound love for the area and the warmth of its people. Originally residing in Prescott, Arizona, with dreams of returning to the Northeast as part of a five-year plan, our trajectory changed when we stumbled upon Peabody's. Recognizing it as an unmissable opportunity, we seized the chance to acquire the establishment. Relocating across the country with four dogs, four cats, and a lizard was an adventure in itself, but the community welcomed us with open arms. As we delved into Peabody's history, we heard stories from both the young and old, expressing the nostalgia and unique significance the venue held in their lives. Moved by these sentiments, we swiftly decided to revive Peabody's, not just for the purpose of reliving nostalgic moments but also to create new friendships and happy memories for generations to come in the beloved gathering place called Peabody's.
